Nintendo announced earlier this year they would have a series of six limited edition Zelda shirts releasing at Nintendo New York over the course of 2016. Three great Zelda game have been downloaded enough to be on this week’s Nintendo 3DS eShop sales charts. While Pokémon dominates most of the top 10 thanks to Pokémon GO‘s success, Zelda holds spots 12, 13, and 20. These games are Ocarina of Time 3D, A Link to the Past (only available on New 3DS), and The Legend of Zelda for NES. I personally own all three of these titles for my 3DS and would recommend any one of them. Be sure to check out the full chart…

In celebration of The Legend of Zelda‘s 30th anniversary, an art book called Hyrule Graphics is releasing in Japan. There’s no word on a Western release at the moment, but I’m sure fans will be importing this collectible as soon as it’s available. The book contains a collection of all official Zelda art ever published, which would be an amazing addition to any Zelda or gaming collection.

Three preview pages have been published online, coming from The Legend of Zelda for NES, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time

Oh boy, here we go—it’s time to talk about remakes once again. After reading the headline, I know what you’re going to say. “But Zelda Informer, Ocarina of Time already got a remake. We have Ocarina of Time 3D!” No, Ocarina of Time has not been remade, it has been remastered. I’m talking about a remake built from the ground up in a new engine with new visuals. OCReMix has long been a place for fans to upload their remixes of classical video game tunes, and the Zelda franchise is no stranger to the site. If you want some throwback to the glorious Gameboy era, look no further than Hyrule Warriors Legends, as a Link’s Awakening DLC pack has been released. YouTube user GamesBrained takes on the challenge to review this nostalgia-inspiring DLC pack.

In the video he takes notes of several details regarding, among other things, the addition of a Koholint Island map to the adventure mode. Even though it wasn’t easy implementing the map into the small screen view, there are a LOT of areas and secrets in there…

There’s no definitive answer to what the best Zelda game is, or what the best game is in general. It all comes down to one’s preferences and enjoyment, and that makes everyone’s top games different from person to person. Because of this, it’s always amusing to see what people list as their best games. So IGN took it upon themselves to list what they think are the top 10 best Zelda games of all time in this recently released video.

Song of Storms is one of the more popular songs from Ocarina of Time. The paradoxical origins and the haunting tone has made it a fan favorite. YouTuber OmegaMetroid93  has uploaded his personal take on this song. It is an acoustic cover played with only an acoustic guitar, and the result is beautiful. It is a soft, melodic song that anyone could honestly fall asleep to it if they are having trouble sleeping…

Commonwealth Realm uploaded the second segment of their current series “Inside Breath of the Wild” onto YouTube. In this episode, the members of Commonwealth Realm tackle the idea of Breath of the Wild as an immersive, yet unrealistic game. They initially look at the art style of the upcoming title, and note that Eiji Aonuma had admittedly been influenced by Japanese anime when considering part of Breath of the Wild’s design. Also, the team at Commonwealth Realm enlists the help of Artsy Omni for an explanation of the “open air” and “gouache” styles of painting…
