Link’s wide array of items in every new Zelda game tend to be obtained through dungeons, and the dungeons revolve around the use of those items, but A Link Between Worlds introduced the new method of buying nearly all your items through Ravio’s shop. This was a fresh new idea, and many loved it, as it opened up some great in-game possibilities. Now that a new Zelda is around the corner, should this method be used again, should the old…

As some of you continue to fight your way through the newly released Smash Bros. for 3DS, you might have already found yourself awarded with a few Legend of Zelda trophies. Though it is currently unknown exactly how many there are, YouTuber WiiFolderJosh has compiled a video revealing a handful of Zelda trophies that he had managed to collect. Hit the jump to take a look!

By now many of you may be aware that I had what I have now deemed as a “failure to launch” when it comes to Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. My initial impressions were not looking good, mostly due to having intense lag in the single player areas whenever I faced 4 CPU opponents with items on no matter what stage I was on. It wasn’t pleasant, as having my screen freeze multiple times really kicks my brain out of the experience.

Thankfully this review is not based entirely on that experience, because I was able to rectify the issue after resetting my A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL and attaching a different Nintendo Network ID to it. Basically, a blank system with nothing downloaded and no games… except for my retail version of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. Yes, the things I make difficult for myself (recovering my digital downloads) just for the sake of a review. Somehow this eliminated my lag entirely, allowing me to give a fair review of what most of you are already are or can expect to experience should you choose to dive in at some point.

Were you short on funds to get the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros.? Maybe you’re waiting for payday… or still debating. Possibly the game is sold out in your area, or you aren’t sure if it is worth the money. Whatever the case may be, we’re giving away 1 Download code for the game, eligible to United States fans only. We’re going to make this a special art contest, where we will feature three artists, with one taking home the code. What does the art need to be of? Well… Smash Bros. of course! Bonus points if it includes Zelda characters in the game…

Determining which Link is truly the greatest isn’t an exact science, but that hasn’t stopped Game Theory from taking a crack at it. In fact, with 11ish versions of our Hero clad in green out there, it could be said that we need to truly do a Zelda Versus, head to head, tournament to truly see where our fan base stands. Still, maybe, just maybe, Game Theory has the answer we’ll all conclude with anyways. Which Link is truly the greatest…

Super Smash Bros. on 3DS was just released, and people are already giving their personal reviews all across the board. One thing that many players are looking down on is the fact that Zelda and Shiek, as well as Samus and Zeros Suit Samus, are separate fighters, unlike their previous joined iterations. Masahiro Sakurai recently gave a quote on why this is the case. Check out the quote after the jump!

Hyrule Warriors introduced a great new concept of having a large, optional mode that effected the main story, and offered loads of extra gameplay. This mode can easily give you as many hours of play as the main story, if not more. Should more Zelda games involve such a large game mode alongside the usual main story? Join the discussion after the jump!

Recently, I published an editorial of the Best Under-Used Items Of The Zelda Franchise.  Previously, I had mentioned Dead Hand, being one of the scariest Zelda bosses of all time. I had also mentioned I would talk more about that subject at a later date. Well, today is that day. We’re going to take a look at some of the scariest Bosses/Events in the Zelda Franchise, and we’ll take a minute to appreciate the darker side of the series.

It’s no surprise that Super Smash Bros. series always give good sales numbers to Nintendo, after selling more than 2 million copies on it’s first two days at Japan, Media Create reports that Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
