Nintendo UK Holding Link’s Awakening Fan Art Competition

The Link’s Awakening remake for Switch is just right around the corner with less than a month before the game’s release. To help celebrate this special occasion, the folks over at Nintendo UK are throwing a special contest for those psyched about the title’s release. So if you love Zelda, love creating stuff for Zelda, love Link’s Awakening, and live in the UK, then does Nintendo have an opportunity for you.
Nintendo UK has just announced that they will be running a Fan Art Competition for Link’s Awakening. In order to win the grand prize, you must create an art project pertaining to Link’s Awakening. According to them, this ranges from things like “a hand-drawn picture of Dampé, a Bow-Wow puppet, a video of your interpretive dance routine to The Ballad of the Wind Fish, or a full diorama recreation of Koholint Island”.
The best entries of the contest will even be featured on the Zelda Facebook page, and the Nintendo UK Twitter & Instagram accounts. The grand prize winner of the Fan Art Competition will receive a Nintendo Switch and a copy of the Link’s Awakening Limited Edition, while the first two runners-up will each receive a copy of Link’s Awakening. You must submit your fan art submission by September 16th at 12 pm.
