Nintendo Hosting Q&A’s With Tears of the Kingdom Developers
Posted on June 13 2023 by Rod Lloyd
Nintendo of America’s official Twitter account recently launched a series of short Q&A videos featuring Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma and Tears of the Kingdom director Hidemaro Fujibayashi to promote the latest Zelda game.
The series’ debut Q&A video, dropped last week, saw Aonuma and Fujibayashi discussing the motivations behind Tears of the Kingdom‘s Fuse and Ultrahand abilities. The game director explained that the developers “wanted players to try their hand at being able to freely create whatever comes to mind by combining versatile items in a vast field.”

The second video, released yesterday, offers a bit of insight on Tears of the Kingdom‘s Ascend ability, which, according to Aonuma, was a late addition to the game.

The topics discussed so far in these Q&A videos have already been covered in other interviews with Aonuma and Fujibayashi, but the bite-sized format seen here should make the information even easier to share.
There are likely more Q&A videos to come, so be sure to follow Nintendo of America’s Twitter account right here. We might learn something new!
Did you learn anything from these Q&A videos? What topics do you want the developers to cover in future videos? Let us know in the comments!
