Buy Zelda Games Away From Consoles: Nintendo eShop Can Now Be Accessed From Web Browsers
Posted on April 04 2015 by Legacy Staff
The Nintendo eShop, Nintendo’s online store, is now accessible from web browsers, which means you can now buy Zelda games digitally, straight from a computer or phone! That’s right, this is yet another way to get your games. Whether you’re on the go and need to buy Zelda Wii U when it drops, or you’ve been forgetting to purchase Majora’s Mask 3D, and your 3DS is dead, just buy it from your smart phone!
When purchasing from this service, there are two different ways of obtaining the game after buying it. One method of getting the game onto your system is sending the game to your system with your Nintendo Network ID. If you sign in with your information, you can directly send the game to your Wii U/3DS easily. The second method is using a download code that you are given directly after purchasing. Just go into the eShop on the system you purchased the game for and enter the download code into the “Download Code” section of the eShop, located in the settings of the shop.
You can find the web version of the eShop here and the section for Zelda games here. Are you going to be doing your Nintendo digital shopping from your phone or computer regularly? Let us know in the comments!
