Nintendo Adds Triforce Emoji for Zelda Twitter Hashtags

Nintendo appears to be jumping on all fronts in order to hype up the upcoming release of the Link’s Awakening for Switch. For instance, Nintendo UK is holding a Fan Art Competition for the title, with the grand prize being a Switch with the Limited Edition version of the game. With just a little over two weeks remaining before the game’s release, the Big N has unveiled that they’re adding something a bit special to the Twitterverse.
Nintendo of America, in order to celebrate Link’s Awakening at PAX West, has revealed a special Twitter emoji for people to use. If you use #Zelda, #LOZ, #LegendofZelda, #LinksAwakening or #BOTW, a Triforce emoji will pop up right next to it.
