Nintendo and Dr. Kawashima join together for a new kind of brain training game

Brain Age was one of the first Touch Generation titles to take the industry by storm when it debuted on Nintendo DS. The result of a collaboration between Nintendo and Japan’s renowned Dr. Ryuta Kawashima to create a brain exercise game, Brain Age went on to sell tens of millions of copies and went down as one of the best-selling casual titles ever. Now Dr. Kawashima is back with a new kind of brain training: “Oni training,” so named because the regiment can be punishingly difficult!

The game will debut in Japan this summer, and judging by the phenomenal success of Brain Age, we’ll probably see it come to Western shores eventually also. Of course, who knows whether Kawashima’s devilish persona will make its way to the Western release…
