It’s a big day for those looking forward to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity! A number of previews of the game by Japanese outlets have been published, and that means a ton of new images and footage are hitting the internet quite quickly. We at Zelda Dungeon have got you covered, though, with a big round up of all the new sights and sounds!

One of the big drops we got is a series of short gameplay videos from Famitsu, featuring Mipha, Revali, Urbosa and the Divine Beasts in action!

New videos from 4Gamer feature even more of Revali & Urbosa, and of Mipha.

From what we can see, Revali and Mipha very much seem to be the swift and agile fighters of the line-up here. While it was obvious they weren’t going to be heavy fighters, it’s wild to see just how fast Mipha’s moveset is and how much Revali keeps to the air.

Additionally, the Divine Beast piloting seems to be an entire function of its own, possibly even a unique type of mission going off of how missions in the demo functioned.

One of the smaller details that’s quite fascinating is that Mipha seems to be fighting Rito warriors and Urbosa seems to be fighting Gerudo, as opposed to minions of Calamity Ganon as we’ve seen in most of the footage released so far. This raises more than a couple questions as to what this situation could be. Is there possible in-fighting among the races during the game? Do the Champions train the races of Hyrule to face the Calamity? Does Calamity Ganon’s reach go as far as even the more civilized races of Hyrule? Only time will tell here.

In addition to the gameplay footage, plenty of screenshots have come out from numerous Japanese outlets featured below in our gallery below. Notable among them are more shots of fighting the Gerudo, some action shots with the Divine Beasts, and a much better look at the mysterious ally to the Yiga Clan. Check them out!

What do you think of these new looks at the game? Why do you think the Champions are fighting the Rito and the Gerudo in the short clips we have? Let us know in the comments below!
