New Footage And Pics Of Actual Skyward Sword Game

Apparently the box for the Skyward Sword game disc that Kotaku received in the mail got smooshed somehow, but luckily the game disc wasn’t harmed. They were able to capture a few images and even take a few videos and you can see them after the jump. These pictures and this video just makes it that much more real to me. I just wish the looming release date for the US would creep up just a little bit quicker. Wouldn’t we all love to have some fun first hand? Take the jump to see some pictures of the very awesome looking game disc, the gold wiimote, the soundtrack CD, and the smooshed box in which they arrived. Oh right, there is also some intro footage of Skyward Sword (up until they get control of Link).
It made my tummy flip when I watched this video. If I wasn’t pumped for Skyward Sword before then I definitely am now! When I saw Link standing there with blackness in the background, I was wondering what he was doing but then it showed that big black monster and I was thinking that it looked like something from a nightmare (which it turned out to be).
Another thing that I thought was cool was when Link falls out of bed after waking up from his nightmare and there is a big bird peeking in his window. I remember seeing a screenshot of Link on the floor, half on and half off of his bed, a while back and I thought it was amusing in the picture as well. The little smile that plays on Link’s face after he reads the letter from Zelda is really heartwarming. What did you guys think of the video?
