New Features Added to the Japanese Skyward Sword Website

It looks like Nintendo is definitely getting ready for Skyward Sword as they have just recently updated the Japanese website with a few new features. Included in the new update are not only a new set of screenshots but a new world map showing Skyloft floating over three distinct landmasses.
Clicking on the small Skyloft image will bring you to a new screen with a separate wallpaper showing a better look at Skyloft while also displaying a menu on the right which include a few short biographies of the characters found within. Also included on the new site is a brand new Iwata Asks segment. Unfortunately it is only available in Japanese at this time but we are currently working on getting a translation.
The site can be viewed here
Personally I am excited by the new features already; the landmasses shown on the map make Hyrule out to be gigantic. At first I was a little disappointed to only hear about the three provinces and Skyloft but after seeing this comparison I see that is nothing to be worried about at all. I still wish I could read the biographies in the Skyloft section, but that is only a matter of time before they are translated. I am especially interested in just what Iwata is revealing in this new segment of Iwata asks. Those are always incredibly interesting to me.
So what do you think? Were you impressed with the new map? Still hungry for more Skyward Sword info? Let us know in the comments below.
