Amiibo Production Underway in Japan

It’s no secret that amiibo are scarce, as well as most new Nintendo products. It has been confirmed that this is due to massive work strikes on the West Coast, where packaged amiibo and New Nintendo 3DS XL may very well be sitting in crates collecting dust. (You would know this if you watched the latest The Boss Man episode!)
Regardless of what rare items could be being held from consumers due to port strikes, more amiibo are being produced in Japan, particularly Villager, Captain Falcon, and Little Mac. What does this mean for North America and Europe? More amiibo could be shipped to those regions, possibly including more scarce Zelda-themed amiibo such as Toon Link and Shiek. It could be that this is just wishful thinking, but I believe it is a real possibility.
Nintendo also apologized for the scarcity of amiibo, and thanked all their customers for their continued patronage. Are you annoyed with Nintendo? Are you lucky enough to own a Toon Link or Sheik amiibo? Let us know in the comments below.
