Monday Comic Corner – Tools of the Trade

This week on Monday Comic Corner we have another comic from Awkward Zombie! This time it’s Spirit Tracks comic, but it also features one of our absolute favorite characters in all of the Zelda series. He’s always got the cheeriest mood and the most welcoming smile.

It’s Linebeck III of course! Doesn’t his grin just make your day every time you see him? In fact, it doesn’t feel like enough that you really only interact with him to buy train parts. But I suppose Phantom Hourglass is there in case we need that extra dose of Linebeck.
Why then, if Spirit Tracks features Toon Link, does the title image have Adult Link and Navi? Because this week is an Awkward Zombie double feature! The next comic, Footloose is a short one.
That would be quite unfortunate for Link and the fate of Hyrule, wouldn’t it? Link may be the most courageous, but nobody said he was very smart. Perhaps we should have listened to Navi’s advice a bit more closely and not tuned her out after the first few minutes. I imagine she was trying pretty hard to get Link’s attention in the moments before this accident.
