Did you ever wonder why the bird themed weather vanes encouraged you not to play too long? It’s not out of concern for your health and to remind you to not spend too long looking at the 3D screen, the bird has a much more important message. In fact, in A Link Between Worlds, there’s a very good reason why the bird reminds you to save and quit every once in a while.

So it was Yuga all along. I should’ve guessed. The bird seemed so helpful and nice with its suggestions for the safety of Hyrule, but indeed it was all just a trap.
It would be interesting to me to see a Zelda game where the characters intentionally mislead you. I wonder if it could be implemented without the gameplay being too frustrating. As it is, A Link Between Worlds has a very good balance between giving the player aid and letting the adventure unfold itself.
