Announced back in August, Nintendo surprised us with news that included Link and a few standard Hylian vehicles as part of the newest and most exciting Mario Kart 8 DLC pack that we’ve seen thus far. As if that weren’t enough, the official Nintendo UK Twitter account revealed to us today a peek of Link’s newest ride with the given and worthy name—the Master Cycle.

As you might expect from a vehicle named the Master Cycle, this Hylian hot rod doesn’t seem to fall short of it’s name. Hylian Shield hoisted on the side, a pair of sweet Triforce rims, and an engine with potentially more horse power than Epona, the Master Cycle certainly seems worthy for racing the tracks with our hero in green.
Although Nintendo has yet to announce a release date for this particular DLC pack, it is expected to surface sometime in November. Keep in mind that this will be the first pack of two (as previously announced) set to include a handful of various Nintendo characters and vehicles alike. Be sure to click here for more details.
You have to admit, the Master Cycle looks absolutely stunning. In addition to the other motorcycle previously revealed, it looks like Link will have two metal motor steeds to choose from; one that hints somewhat resembles Epona, and another that fills the role of the Master Sword— in a revamped motorcycle form. and . And I have to say, with the Hylian Shield attached, it doesn’t look like anyone will have an easy time passing him up on the race track. What do you think of the Master Cycle? Like the design?
