In this weeks collection video we take at the Fierce Deity Link Statue, created by First 4 Figures. Originally released in Q4 2006, this statue has since become a rare and expensive collectible. Retailing at $129.99 at launch, nowadays it is hard to find this statue for anything less than $700. Since it rarely pops up for sale, I’ve seen it sell for as much as $1200 on auction websites.

The statue is based around the official artwork from Majora’s Mask and it comes in three pieces: the base, the main part of the statue, and then the hands and sword. Due to it being one of the first Zelda statues made by First 4 Figures, there were a lot of issues during its production run. Most notably, there were frequent problems with putting the hands into the rest of the statue, where cracks to the sword were quite common. There are also some wobble problems at the base. In all subsequent Zelda statue releases from First 4 Figures, these issues are much less common. Luckily First 4 Figures has been great in sending replacement parts and in some cases, replacements statues. Go ahead and make the jump to check out the collection video.

There are over a dozen First 4 Figures statues on the market and I plan on showcasing them one by one over the course of the next several months, so be sure to stay tuned for more videos.
