Mario Kart 8 Update Allows for New Racing Suits Using Amiibo

Nintendo have updated their official Mario Kart 8 website with news of a new software update for the game, available to download for free from November 13th. The update will allow for Mii racer outfit customization, by allowing players to change their Mii’s racing suit to ones based on those of each amiibo.

The compatible amiibos are as follows: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, Link, Kirby, Captain Falcon, Samus, and Fox McCloud.

Nintendo have since removed the page from the site, but perhaps some light will be shed on this during today’s Nintendo Direct? Let’s hope so!
