Mario Kart 8 Triforce Cup DLC

The day has finally arrived for the Zelda DLC for Mario Kart 8 containing 3 characters to race as, four vehicles to crash and eight tracks to cover with banana peels. One of the new cups is the Triforce Cup, which contains three remade tracks and, most importantly, the Hyrule Circuit. I’ve put together a video showing these snazzy courses while driving (or at least trying to) as our favourite hero on his awesome new motorbike. See the video after the jump.
It’s a bit disappointing that there’s only one Zelda-esque track in the pack but it’s a decent track with some great nods to the Zelda series. When I was racing I was concentrating on the course so much, I didn’t notice the chest opening tune that plays when you get a new item. The remade tracks are good,too, and I’m quite looking forward to seeing what the other cup’s tracks are like.
