When asked to decide on a symbol or logo to represent your family, what would you choose? Would it display all you’ve been through together, or maybe it would show off your gaming pride? It certainly did the latter for this guy, as he chose the Triforce from the Legend of Zelda to signify his family.

Twitter user @mahosyouzyo says, “A relative passed away, and I was asked for an idea for a revamped family crest.”
He went on to explain that the grandfather (who, I assume, is the one who had passed away) had always wanted to redo the family’s “kamon” (家紋). A kamon is a family crest, much like the ones powerful western families had in Europe during the Middle Ages.
@mahosyouzyo went on to say that he was surprised by the fact it had been used in such a way, posting: “I just kind of randomly drew it, not thinking much about it.” Many other users pointed out that it bore resemblance to the crest of the Hojo family, questioning if something like that was legal. In reply, he said that it, “seemed to be okay” for crests to be similar to each other.
I think selecting the Triforce to embody your family is an awesome way to show you really care about Zelda and gaming. Not to mention it says a lot about the ones you love if you think they deserve that.
What about you? Would you pick the Triforce to be the symbol of your family? Or how about something like the Kokiri symbol or the Sheikah eye? Something totally unrelated to gaming? Let us know in the comments!
