In response to the devastating wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles, California in recent weeks, both the Zelda-based charity group Zeldathon and the Florida-based video game music coalition Ongaku Overdrive are showing their support by throwing a charity concert stream on Twitch to help raise money for relief funds. Dubbed “Fairy Fountain: Hearts for LA,” this online concert will be raising money for LA Wildfire Relief and will feature performances from FamilyJules, Lacey Johnson, Steven Strums, and more.
Ongaku Overdrive gave a short press release about the concert on the event’s official page:
Earlier this year, wildfires devastated the greater Los Angeles area, destroying homes and taking lives. It was a horrible tragedy, and the people of Los Angeles are going to need help with recovery. Ongaku Overdrive and Zeldathon will be teaming up for an epic charity stream that will raise donations toward the LA Wildfire Relief campaign on Tiltify.
Fairy Fountain: Hearts for LA will feature live video game music from many acts, including several from the LA area; plus prize raffles, song requests, and fun incentives. This event will be free to watch on both the Ongaku Overdrive and Zeldathon Twitch channels.
The following is the official flyer for Fairy Fountain: Hearts for LA that was designed by Alyssa Kalugdan and Sixelona.
Fairy Fountain: Hearts for LA will be streaming on February 16th at 12 PM PST/3PM EST on both the Zeldathon and Ongaku Overdrive Twitch channels.
