A Link to the Past Animated Series on Kickstarter

A group by the name of Aeipathy Industries has reached out to the fans via Kickstarter to try to improve a project they’ve started called Zeldamotion. The creator of the project, Sean Heitmeyer originally started this because he wanted to animate the Zelda manga series. After the fans showed a great response to an animated comic he made, he decided to make his hobby into a full animation with voice actors and completely original artwork. This is where he needs help from people like you to fund his project, so hit the jump to see the project and some of the perks of becoming a backer!
Right now, the project has raised almost $2,000 of it’s $15,000 goal, which really isn’t asking a lot compared to other fundraisers. It still is early in the project, and with 25 days to go there’s plenty of time to raise the necessary amount of money to fund this project.
The cost of being a backer vary from $1 to $10,000 pledges, and the perks range all the way from being mentioned in the credits to receiving the series’ soundtrack to becoming a side character for an episode. If you’d like to contribute to this fundraiser, check out their Kickstarter.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of manga or anime, but this project looks astounding. It really is great to see a guy’s hobby turned into a really wonderful project such as this one. Sean Heitmeyer has made it clear that the Zeldamotion project isn’t to make money, but rather for the fans’ enjoyment, and I hope this gets funded so the world can see this idea become a reality.
