Link Playable in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Capcom has released some brand new information at their panel at Comic Con 2014, one of them concerning our favorite character, Link. For their upcoming title, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, players can now unlock Link equipment. The Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and Bow will all be exclusive items players can use when the Link equipment is selected. Alongside this, players will be able to wear the Hero’s Tunic. All this can be seen in an official video released on the Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

As you can see, Link will wonderfully be playable in the game. This Link will be based off of the Link from Skyward Sword. Alongside Link’s 3 exclusive items, various other items from the game will be usable. The inclusion had been already announced in the Japanese audience, making this a confirmation of Link’s inclusion in the North American copy of the game.

I personally think this cameo is pretty nifty, and really adds to how Link is becoming more prominent in 3rd party games. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be available on the 3DS sometime in early 2015.
