Link Gets Jiggy Wit’ It in Fresh Prince of Hyrule Music Video

This isn’t quite a story about a kid from West Philadelphia movin’ with his auntie and uncle in Bel Air, but it is a fresh tale about a boy from Outset Island. YouTube channel Versus recently brought us a poppin’ parody of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song, retelling the start of Link’s adventure in The Wind Waker. So we’d like to take a minute, just sit right there, and let Versus tell you about how Link became the hero of kingdom called Hyrule.

Versus used this music video as a kickoff for their video series in Wind Waker HD. The song is as hilarious as it is well-produced, proving that Link can chill out maxin’, relaxin’ all cool as much as any other guy. You’d be surprised by how well the story of Wind Waker fits with the beats of the Fresh Prince. The song may be a little too long, but you have to admire the Versus team for sticking through all of WW‘s intro with such comical determination.
