Awhile back, a fan began creating something Nintendo described as being too difficult to consider at that time. Thus Zelda Maker was born. However, the inherent risks of such a project are obvious, as Nintendo infamously shuts down the most ambitious of fan game projects using their IP. That being kept in mind, he re-branded the project as Legend Maker, being sure to use original assets along the way. For all intents and purposes however, this is indeed the Zelda Maker type game Nintendo claimed was too difficult to consider. Today, the studio behind it has released a fully playable demo, which can be downloaded here.

Dream Mix studios (the folks behind the game) have an active Patreon for anyone who wishes to the support the project.
