Most of us have pondered learning another language before and some already speak multiple languages, but have the desire to tackle more. If you happen to be like me and are a self professed Japanophile then this thought has most definitely already crossed your mind! For those of you that are currently learning or thinking about learning another language a good idea is to immerse yourself in the sites and sound of that language, and what better way to do so in Japanese than anime and video games! The website, theanimesensei has just the thing for all those longing to learn Japanese, and hose that have a love for the Zelda series. Currently available are three separate lessons using The Wind Waker HD to help teach you the language in the form of slides of screenshots from the game with the Japanese text written out in Romaji as well as the English translation. This is a pretty spectacular idea and you can sign up for a free 30 day trial if you want to check it out, or take advantage of the many free lessons that are also available. There are many different anime and games to choose from such as many lessons from the Final Fantasy series as well as anime like Naruto and Attack on Titan. The lessons range from beginner courses to intermediate, and advanced, do there is something for all learning levels. I love the fact that I can use a game that ranks pretty high on my list of favorite Zelda games to learn Japanese and I can’t wait to go through all three lessons!
