Kickstarter for a Zelda Inspired Book
Posted on October 22 2012 by Legacy Staff
The Legend of Zelda is a gaming franchise that has touched the hearts of everyone who has played it. Although the Legend of Zelda series is spectacular in almost every way, some feel it has become more and more flawed as of late, especially Skyward Sword.
David Hellman (the artist of Braid) and Tevis Thomson (writer of “Saving Zelda”) are huge Legend of Zelda fans and after “Saving Zelda” was published, conversations of the frustrations of Skyward Sword began. After many conversations, they created an original story of their own. They are still in the process of writing this Zelda based comic called Second Quest and right now they need your help. Make the jump to find out how to help.
They are currently raising money to get this comic published and their goal is $50,000 and right now they only have $21,797. Second Quest is a story about a women that can draw out memories by touching objects, but the memories she recovers do not fit the legends she grew up with. They are going all out to make this all perfect as possible for your amusement. The least you can do is donate to them. There is only 25 more days.
This something that I would really like to get published. It’s not a Legend of Zelda comic but it takes the frustration from games and puts into a comic. it seems like something I would defiantly like to read. What are your thoughts on the comic? Do you think this should be published? Let us know in the comments below.
