It’s a Good Time to Get Silly with this Zelda Jazz Medley

You’re hanging with your friends, playing The Legend of Zelda, when Link starts jamming on his ocarina. The vibes hit you like a wave and you can’t help but tap your foot to its rhythm. Suddenly, you bust out your saxophone, your boy’s on the drums and the jam session begins. Link sets the beat and you all groove along, creating a jazzy Zelda themed melody. How many times has this happened to you? Plenty, I’m sure. And finally, someone has caught this Zelda jazz phenomenon on camera.
Gotta say, I love ZachGrooves‘ style. Not only are we serenaded with this sweet song medley, they also put tons of thought and love into the production of their video. It begins with a very relatable scene, a pair of friends playing Ocarina of Time, passing a bag of Funyuns back and forth. Like most of us, they are swayed by the game’s memorable music. Now, I am not a musician, so I can only bob my head and thrum my fingers along to the beat. But, ZachGrooves? They have the talent to really get into it, to make the beat their own. These guys are fans. You can tell by the sheer love they display here and the fun they have as a result. If only every Zelda play session could be as lively.
By mixing drums, saxophone, the keyboard and even the flute, ZachGrooves show off their talent and musical range here to great success. They even have a surprise cameo by SeanShedz as he pops up from a treasure chest to join the band.
