Incredible Ganondorf Fanart

Ganondorf has always made for a very dark, and evil looking villain in the Zelda series, and whether or not you really like his character, it’s easy to see these traits in who he is. Many pieces of fan art have also represented these characteristics well, but a very recent piece of fan art really shows them better than most I’ve seen. The portrait was created by Dudu Torres who is a freelance artist that works with game art, book covers, comics, and more! While the shot only features his head and shoulders, everything in the picture was used to show his character traits, from the way he stares, to his size in the painting! You can check out the picture with more details after the jump, find it on Deviantart here, or check out a step by step creation of the painting here at the artists blog.

What really struck me about this picture is the amount of detail that went into what was put into Ganondorf. As I stated earlier, the artist really focused on putting Ganondorfs character traits into the painting, as they mention in the description of the picture over at Deviantart and on their blog. Overall, I just find this to be a very impressive picture, and I just can’t say enough how much I love the attention to detail. The picture really represents who Ganondorf is and provides for a great image of him.

But now that you’ve seen it, what do you think of it? Do you like it? Anything you think would have worked better? Let us know what you think by leaving us a comment below!
