Incredible A Link to the Past Map Cross-Stitch

Fan art based on the Legend of Zelda series appear quite regularly. There are far too many pieces created too often for us to be able to talk about all of them. Every once in a while something comes along that is not only an amazing piece of art, but it also shows the creator has dedicated a lot of time to the project. One such piece is a cross-stitch depicting the overworld map from A Link to the Past.
Take the jump to see it for yourself!
At first glance the map is very impressive, but upon closer inspection you can see just how much attention to details has gone into it. The buildings in Kakariko Village, the number of trees in certain areas, bridges and other aspects are exactly the same as the actual overworld map. They have even colored the sand in the desert to make it look textured, just like in the map.
With how much attention to detail the creator has put into the cross-stitch, it’s no surprise that it took approximately nine months to create, however all those hours painstakingly stitching this together were well worth it. They could have simplified the map to make it easier, but the hard work and dedication has created something incredible.
What do you think of the map? Which other overworld maps would make impressive cross-stitch projects? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
