Hyrule Warriors Sells over 69,000 Copies in a Week

The recent release of Hyrule Warriors in Japan begins to answer a question that’s on the minds of Zelda fans everywhere, just how well is this game going to do? Well Japan’s Software charts show that Hyrule Warriors was a force to be reckoned with this week.

In this week alone Hyrule Warriors sold 69,090 copies and took second place in Japan’s Software charts. This shows a lot of promise for the game; however, how much did all the Japanese exclusive extras contribute to the successful opening week, and will that success carry over when it releases worldwide?
