Hyrule Warriors: Legends is shaping up to be more than just a simple handheld port, with more characters and more story. The game is also looking to utilize the 3DS as much as possible, implementing some of the handheld’s unique features. In a recent interview with Famitsu, producer Yosuke Hayashi confirmed that Hyrule Warriors: Legends will be making use of 3DS StreetPass in its Adventure Mode.
Hayashi shared that his team at Koei Tecmo has been eyeing 3DS StreetPass since they first started working with the system. He confirmed that Hyrule Warriors: Legends will use StreetPass in its Adventure Mode, which has players completing missions and obtaining new characters and rewards. No other information is yet known about the game’s use of StreetPass, but I am excited to see how else Hyrule Warriors: Legends decides to use the unique features of the 3DS.
How would you like Hyrule Warriors: Legends to use StreetPass? What other 3DS features would you like to see used in the game? Let us know what you think in the comments!
