How Zelda inspired Skulls of the Shogun

There are many games created with inspiration from the Legend of Zelda series. One of the newest titles of such is Skulls of the Shogun. According to the official website, “Skulls of the Shogun is a fast-paced-turn based strategy game where players meet and join forces with vibrant ghost-samurai warriors, magical animal-monks, and mustachioed samurai generals on the way to capture the Skulls of the Shogun.” The founder of 17-BIT, the company that created Skulls of the Shogun for Steam, states that Zelda inspired this game.

It is no mystery that many games on Steam were created with inspiration from Nintendo’s masterpiece known as Zelda. The franchise is also a great inspiration for many musicians and graphic artists alike. The series appeals to a wide variety of talents and is a great asset for new creations.
