Help End Women’s Cancer With a Zelda Twitch Stream
Posted on June 20 2014 by Legacy Staff
Passionate Zelda fans Sal, Russell, Jason, and Diego are running a live stream on Twitch to raise money for Weekend to End Women’s Cancer, an annual 60 kilometer charity walk. As I’m writing this, Russell is playing through Twilight Princess while Sal is practicing for the race through Majora’s Mask that he and Jason will be having later. The group will also be playing A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker HD, and Skyward Sword. If they receive enough donations, a little bit of Zelda II and Four Swords Adventures will be added.
The group has made a list of donation incentives that includes things like handicapping Sal with booze for the Majora’s Mask race, making whoever is playing do push-ups and sit-ups when they die in the game, and shaving the Triforce into Sal and Russell’s hair.
The stream is set to run non-stop until the group beats all of the games they set out to play, so should probably end about 7AM on Tuesday, June 24. There is plenty of time for you to help them on their quest against cancer, but they can’t do it without you. Click here to donate to this worthy cause.
