Gerudo Valley Theme Piano Duet

Youtube user Kyleandry has recently posted a video showing of a duet of the Gerudo Valley theme from Ocarina of Time played on the piano. This version has a slightly different intro from that of the original game track. Here is what they had to say.

In honor of the LEGENDARY Zelda serie’s new release “Skyward Sword,” Frank Tedesco and I decided to perform a duet of Gerudo Valley from the classic Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Frank is a freshman composition major here at The Hartt School who plays drums and piano, who also has a channel here on youtube who could use more recognition indeed! You may notice some percussive inspiration in his style at times!

It really does take at least four hands to play this song. There is just too much going on, That said I think it was a very good interperetation of the theme. I was unsure at first because the beginning sounded so different to me but then they smoothly went into the familiar tune. The Gerudo Vally theme really is one of my favorites from the game. Any time someone plays a version of it I am interested.
