Geldman easter egg in A Link Between Worlds

Every Zelda game has instances of easter eggs appearing within them. It can be references to other games in the series or to other series entirely or it can be something else that was added in just for fun. In this case it would be the latter.

The aforementioned easter egg was discovered by Twitter user, Andrew Kelly and it involves an enemy called a Geldman which are usually found wandering around in the desert region of Hyrule in both A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds. Well, to cut to the chase, something rather humorous happens when you use one of the items in the game on him.

I find this to be rather funny. I think I might try this the next time I play the game. There were other little easter eggs that I had encountered during my playthrough, but this was certainly not one I had been expecting.
