Fun Fact: Zant and Ghirahim are Playable due to Fan Requests

As it turns out, Koei Tecmo and Nintendo listen to their fans, as Zant and Ghirahim are only playable specifically because fans wanted them to be. The original plan was just to have them be enemy characters and nothing more, but fans spoke loud and clear – so I suppose I should be thanking all of you for finally letting me be Lord Deb… I mean Ghirahim. Of course this is the point where fans wish Koei Tecmo and Nintendo had listened even more, since we’re all still waiting for the Groose to be loose.

Of course there will be character and level DLC in the future, so they very well may still be listening. You would figure almost any character from Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, and Twilight Princess are fair game. In fact, I relish in the ability to add new character to our Hyrule Warriors Walkthrough. This brings us back to the same question we keep asking everyone: who do you want to see playable in the game?
