I'll put that on my to-do list, which I'm learning helps keep my scatterbrained self somewhat sane. :)

Yeah it's pretty simple. It's like learning a second alphabet. Each line and space on the staff directly corresponds to a key on a piano, and each one is lettered from A to G. It can be as simple as making flash cards for a bunch of different notes and memorizing the alphabet association. You can learn it by yourself in an afternoon
