This is going to be kind of like my thread "Theory per Dungeon."
I've gone through every map in the Zelda series and theorized about their potential placement in the Breath of the Wild map. Games that take place in a similar era (according to the official ZE timeline) will not be allowed to share landmarks. Even The World of the Ocean King and Koholint make appearances, even though it doesn't make a ton of sense.
I've tried to line up the maps pretty consistently; however, some are a little shoddy.

Here are the rules for landscape transformation:
- Every landscape changed is based on reasonable inferences
- Flood Plains: Places near water can flood
- Deserts: Places that are covered in water can dry up
- Flood Plain Deserts: Places that can flood can also dry up and become deserts
- Swamps: Swamps and wetlands can fill with water and become lakes or seas and lakes and seas can drain and become swamps and wetlands
- Mountains: Mountains can grow or shrink
- Direction: The cardinal directions are not consistent
- Names: Place names are not consistent
- Bodies of Water: Bodies of water can change shape
- Trees: Trees can be chopped down or grown
- The Lost Woods: The Lost Woods is inconsistent and can move with the curse.
- The goal is to find cool things, even if it’s not perfect
- Maps should line up closely
