Zelda Item Uses

Ever thought that a Zelda item could have another use?
well say the item and what you might use it for otherwise.

Example- As far as I am awar the beetle will do things like pick up bombs and maybe other items, maybe it could be changed to pick up small enemies and then you could ram them into something.

Or the fishing rod, you could use that as a whip enemies instead or collect items that are far away.

What items can you think of extra uses for?

With the fishing pole they may put the Hookshot in SwS even still it would be something cool to show people once.

they could use the slingshot to have a pellet to go into a cylinder to open a door
