I disagree with the sex thing, it's far more likely that she gave him a few potions and patched up his wounds, that would be hard to animate

Oh No I'm afraid.

i have no idea what nintendo what doing there. Nintendo, at this time, did have a strong self-censorship. Before ESRB they wouldn't have touched this sort of idea. They probably just couldn't fit the animation scene in due to time constraints.
