If I get the game I would literally just play as sword fighter most of the time.
No the ESBR rating says link will be playable

I know but from the video you can see it’s easy to recharge
I must say I am not pleased Zelda has a sword, I was hoping her gameplay would be radically different than Link’s.

Well if its optional, that changes things. An easier thing would have been to make it a Polearm attachment ti her rod that has spear tip or whatever, so that even if its melee its different than Link.
