ZD Writing Competition Round 16 - Theme

[A Link In Time]

Hey, everyone! I apologize for the delay between rounds. There was a bit of uncertainty regarding the competition schedule after Dan's departure, but now things have steadied out. Without further ado, it's time to get writing once more!

This round is a parameter round. You must include five of the following ten parameters in your entry.

1. A reference to South Park or Family Guy
2. A character goes to the bookstore
3. A woman loses her wedding ring
4. The adjective "deceitful"
5. An embarrassing moment
6. Someone confronting their phobia
7. A reference to Pokémon Sun and Moon
8. The coming of winter
9. A story where the only characters are bugs
10. Breaking the fourth wall

I agree. How long is the maximum word count for this?

There's no minimum word length, the story can be short if you want it to be. However, the maximum word length for the Writing Competition is around 2000 words.

I could be wrong, but did you mean to tag @Satan Claus? Makes a bit more sense to me as he's the other CC.

To enter, just copy/paste the text of the story into a PM and send that to ALIT. If there's any formatting you need done, you need to make sure that you have the BB Code included in the entry and that you wrap [plain][/plain] tags around the entirety of your entry so that when ALIT transfers your post from the PM to the voting thread, the BB Code will be copyable.
