An American animated series based on the games aired in 1989, and individual manga adaptations which are officially endorsed and commissioned by Nintendo have been produced in Japan since 1997. The newest game in the series is "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D" for the 3DS; and Nintendo confirmed "Skyward Sword" (the latest game) will be released for the Wii in November 20, 2011 in the U.S. and in November 18 in Europe...
