I dont particularly like the game overall but it has a few good things:
Real voice acting
The Strong! The Burly! The One! The Only!...Master Kohga!
Bokoblins are the best yet.
I love the scenery. I love taking in the sights as I walk around the kingdom. They just never fail to put me in awe. I love being able to freely explore and climb anything and everything, and I love the creativity in combat. I love the armor system and I love being able to dye them. Cooking is a cool addition. I just love that there's so much to do that I'm still not bored with the game even after all this time. I love the character depth for Link and Zelda. I love the Champions. There's very little I don't like, tbh.
-I really enjoy how the enemies feel part of the environment, rather than just randomly placed. Enemies living in one area that are the same species may act differently than those living in another. Masks also make enemy interactions even cooler.
-I love being able to climb just about everything. The vertical movement and exploration of the game really opens it up and gives it a lot of freedom.
-I like being able to dye clothing. It's a nice touch and I always enjoy seeing some customization like that.
-Shield surfing is fun.
-The environmental effects applying to not only you, but your enemies as well makes the game a bit more interesting.
-I like that enemies acknowledge and attack NPCs. It's a nice touch.
I love the freedom the games give you. You can complete the dungeons in any order, even going to the final boss immediately (Even is it is difficult)
I love being able to explore the huge world. I also like the variety of items. Not just a couple swords and shields and a handful of other items. Now I can have more swords, shields and items then I know what to do with. I also like the idea of voice acting. The way they did it was nice too. Only for special moments to make them more memorable.
I pretty much like nearly everything about BotW
Zora’s domain is pretty awesome.
Champions except Revali are great.
Love upgrading armor.
Great Fairies are less freaky.
Masks are really nice.
Multiple solutions are fun.
Guardians are epic.
- The art style
- The soft piano music when you're exploring the overworld
- The physics
- The ability to glide
- The ability to climb anything
- The map/scenery is beautiful
- Kass playing all of the old Zelda tunes
- Being able to cook
- Shield surfing
- The ability to jump
- The different environments and weather (beach, snow, desert, mountains, volcano)
- The outfits
- The Rito
The terrain is interesting and the different biomes across the span of Hyrule is rather seamlessly incorporated and I really do appreciate it.
On that note, the physics engine is remarkable and makes everything look incredibly fluffy.
That one centipede guy what was his name again?
Foraging in the r a i n.
Hyrule ****ing Castle.
Setting everything on fire.
Taking lynel selfies.
Did I mention sheep?
There. Are. Dragons. They don't do anything special but they're pretty chill.
Making lynels shoot their arrows at the aforementioned dragons.
Making the dogs commit suicide.
The Coliseum Ruins.
Also, guardians are cute.
