Your Favourite Boss Fights?

Boss fights are often considered a key component in video games today. Some bosses are way too easy and others stupidly difficult but sometimes there is one that manages to create a feeling that remains in our hearts.

Some bosses create a feeling that really adds to the games atmosphere whether it's feeling of urgency, anger, sorrow or anything else it makes the game feel spectacular!

So, whats your favourite boss fight and how did it make you feel at the time?

oh, hard question. My favorite boss is probably the final boss in Final Fantasy III for the DS. It set my heart racing, but it was a fun challenge. when I finally killed it, I felt accomplished

NFS Most Wanted boss races are a blast, because-
1)There's 15 of them.
2)Always a chance to win their pink slip.
3)They're actually challenging.

...and this goes without saying, but pretty much ever LoZ boss is a masterpiece obviously.

Kronos from God of War. I was just laughing maniacally through the whole fight.

That second fight with Ghirahim was pretty cool. He presented a real challenge and the motion controls added a whole new depth to combat. He also didn't seem horribly slow, either. If they had made the bosses faster in Hero Mode, I'd be more than happy to play it through again.

Ok so I gotta say, Biolizard from sonic Adventure 2 was amazing. When I was fighting that thing I really felt a sense of urgency. I needed to do this or the world was going to be destroyed. I love that fight so much

Rayquaza from PMD 1 and Dialga from PMD 2. Both gave you a lingering feeling of impending doom if you didn't beat them. Also the music is some of the best going. Another boss I LOVE fighting is Ceadeus from MH3. It's fun to fight and challenging to beat it in 30 mins. Normally it takes me about 1.5 hours, but I keep going because the awesomeness of the battle! tbh, all monsters in MH3 are bosses, but Ceadeaus is one of the ones that is a true boss battle. Youtube him if you don't know what he is.

There are a ton of boss fights that I have a knack for. Like, I couldn't count them all, partially due to not having enough digits and also because I forget a great deal of them!

The ones I would pick just from recent memory are:
Biolizard & Finalhazard -- Sonic Adventure 2
Biolizard: see Linkdude74's post. / Finalhazard: this guy was fantastic. From the super-hype music Live and Learn to the overall feel of the battle, I felt this was an extremely epic manner of closing off a game. The fight itself might have problems here and there, but I highly recommend people whooping this huge freak's tail at least once in their life. It's amazing!

Evil Fayt -- Star Ocean:Till the End of Time
I just love fighting this guy. I never once fought him iwth the right partner (It's typically Fayt and Luther for me; I get Fayt Solo ending easily but have been trying so hard to get FaytxMaria; never did)...but it's still fun regardless.

Liquid Snake -- Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
You're on top of that one Metal Gear project thing, and you're kicking your "brother's" butt mano a mano. How do you feel? Freaking awesome, of course. This is the boss battle of a life time, in my opinion. Not to mention, Liquid has a damn sexy voice. <3

To put it quite simply, every boss fight from Skyward Sword and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. (I was unable to find a video showing all of the boss battles of MGS3.)

So, if I were to compare my favorites together, the one that definitely sticks out for me is the Lachesis and Atropos battle from God of War 2. I greatly enjoyed battling the two of them working with time, space and mirrors. Very satisfying indeed.
