Ya like jazz?

Jazz music can be very polarizing. Many people who study music professionally appreciate jazz for its difficulty and the skill required, but also for the improvisational freedom that comes with it, let alone the importance of jazz as a music genre in shaping what music is today. But then there are others who think it is lame, and hate listening to jazz.

Whether it's swing or the incredibly complex contemporary jazz that artists bring out in the modern day, what is your opinion on it? Do you like jazz, or is it a genre that just annoys you?

Ive never tried jazz properly but it isn't one i'm too intrigued to try either.
