I would take the option of a redo without the pandemic in a heartbeat. Just having seen the amount of death, pain, lost opportunity, and isolation that occurred over the past year around the world makes it an easy choice for me.
On a selfish personal level I suppose I made it through 2020 without the loss of anyone I know personally and I am still here but I had really planned to make the most of my final year of university having just returned to Australia by getting involved in societies and making new contacts and that opportunity was lost. Finding a job was a far more stressful process than I anticipated and I've had to change my future plans significantly due to travel restrictions. I'm sure there are valuable things that I have learned this year but I feel as though I'd have had a much more productive and positive year if there was no pandemic.
