Breath of the Wild Will you play Breath of the Wind on Wii U or Nintendo Switch?

I was for sure I'd play Breath of the Wind on The Switch since I knew I'd be getting one. I also chose to play TP on Wii instead of GameCube. After watching the 3 minute trailer of Nintendo Switch it finally occurred to me that there doesn't seem to be any NFC. No amiibo! I may have to rethink this.

I don't know what NFC is but the Switch has been confirmed to support amiibo.

I'm getting the Switch because it's too good to pass up. I was never able to get a Wii U and there are still Wii U games I want to get, but getting the Switch is worth missing out on them.

Near-field communication. The way amiibo can connect to the console without physically being connected. ATM's support it too nowadays.

I'm definitely going to play it on the Switch. I can't wait for Switch and BOTW.

Also, Nintendo has said that Switch will support amiibo. There's no way they'd just discontinue support for something that's kind of carried their business through some tough times.

Switch here! Maybe I'll buy it for the Wii U as well, but more for collector's sake. I should've done the same with TP but I didn't and now the price is way up high!

As of right now, I can't say I'm super impressed with the Switch, so I'm not going to be getting it right away, if at all. So I am planning to play Breath of the Wild on my Wii U, since that's kind of the entire reason I have a Wii U in the first place. No need to rob the Wii U of its raison d'être.

The Switch, because I don't own a Wii U, don't want to own a Wii U, and the Switch will let me bring it on the go.

I will probably play it on wii U since I have one already. And I have the game preordered and got a good deal (30% when I preordered)

I probably will buy a switch eventually and probably will buy it for the switch just to have the portable aspect of it but we will see... maybe not if it is identical in every way except that it can go portable.

Switch only because I left my wii U back home, and the Switch is perfect for living in an RV since I can take it to starbucks or somewhere if I need to connect online.

I will play it on my Wii U. Mainly because it was intended for that console in the beginning, but also because I can't really afford a Switch atm, but maybe that will have "switched" once it releases. Hue hue hue

I haven't quite decided yet. If there is a BotW Switch bundle, then I will probably pick it up. If not, I will purchase the Wii U version and wait until the console drops in price. I'm still perfectly content with my Wii U to be honest.

Depends on whether or not I can get a Switch on day one. But as of now, I've already pre-ordered Breath of the Wild for Wii U and that's where I'll likely play it. Though, eventually I'll end up playing it on both consoles.
