Tech Help Wii U - Doesn't Display Using Component Cables

I ordered some component cables off Amazon (Wii component cables) which supposedly work for the Wii U - Nintendo's support site tells me that Wii component cables work just fine iwth Wii U. Well, I inserted the cables and changed the display settings in System Settings, but nothing pops up. Is this just a problem with my cables?

Sounds like it is a problem with your cables, although, I haven't heard about using component cables, try some AV cables and see if that works.
