Technically, a song is made from lyrics set to music. So I don't know if this counts, as it doesn't have lyrics.
But by golly (does anybody ever say that anymore?), this struck me back for the first time in years as soon as I started watching Goodfellas (again) a while ago. Funny thing, it is part of an actual song by Derek and the Dominoes it's called Layla, and this is the piano exit:

That movie has beautiful music playing while somebody's murdered more than once, for some reason. For example, a guy is beat up while Atlantis by Donovan plays!
It's pretty crazy, but I can appreciate how this seems to somehow fit the movie.
