General Zelda Which Game Would You Consider Yourself to Be an "Expert" In?

I put quotation marks around "expert" because you don't necessarily have to be an expert, just a game you consider yourself to be rather good at - that you specialise in so to say.

So are there any games (could be just one) that you think you're rather good at, and any reasons for that?

Ocarina of Time would be the only Zelda game, probably. I haven't played it in quite a few years but can remember pretty much exactly what you need to do, played it so much when I was younger it's all still there in my head. :P

For me when i play Zelda games in general i can leave off playing them for quite a while and then come back to them and complete them without any aids what so ever. I literally remember every turn foe and boss with ease, this tends to happen for puzzle games as well or those hidden object games. Once i see something in a pattern once then i tend to see the pattern again even if it's slightly modified or different. The best example i can think of is the races in MM it's a repeating pattern with the Deku Butler or the Goron Races and because of that i can learn the lay of the land in the first run of it. The same applies in the later games such as PH, ST and SS where they have some puzzle elements to them.

The Irony is i don't have a photographic memory but anytime i play a game i can "remember" them easily, even though 5/10 times it's more like muscle memory as if i have done it dozens of times but on the first attempt.

I would consider myself very well versed in MC. It was the first Zelda game I myself bought (my older brother had purchased any previous ones I'd played), and as such, it felt like the first Zelda game that was really mine. I really liked the shrinking mechanic, the story, and the difficulty was perfect, so all of that prompted me to play through it several times. I've done a 100% run on it (and let me tell you, finding every last kinstone fusion was quite a chore), a 3-heart run, at least two normal runs, and several partial runs. It's been a while since the last time I played it, but I think I can still remember pretty well all the secrets and puzzles.

I would probably say either Ocarina of Time or A Link to the Past. I have played both games multiple times, so I am quite familiar with them.

alttp, I could probably fall asleep/autopilot/highway hypnosis during the game somehow and get everything in it and wonder when did I get there?

It's the weirdest feeling isn't Salem. I've had that a couple of time where you can literally just turn off and then be at the boss and wonder what the heck just happened. I think a game that can let you do that is one hell of a good game.

I am an expert at ALttP. I have 100% that game over 10 times, and it is still no less fun or exciting for me to do so. Last time I 100% completed ALttP in 6 Hours. One Day. Never have i done this before, but I sat down one day, created a file, and beat the game with full hearts and upgrades in one setting. it was around 6 hours. Next time i will actually time it with a stop watch, cuz I feel i could set some kind of record speed run of this game!

Same goes for Mega Man 2

Ocarina of Time for sure. I've completed that game countless times since its release and can beat it fairly quickly and with ease.
